Seed Saving 101 & Wet Seed Processing – Sections 1 & 2

Taught by the fabulous Casey O’Leary with Snake River Seed Cooperative. This will be a two part class series and each section needs to be signed up for individually.
Section 1:
10am-11:30am Seed Saving 101 & Wet Seed Processing
We’ll cover:
– How to save your own high-quality organic seeds
– What is a “wet” seed?
– How to know when your wet seeds are mature
– Cleaning, drying, and storing wet seeds (hands-on practice!)
– Whether to save seeds from a particular plant
– What is a “dry” seed?
– Harvesting and curing dry seeds
– Threshing & winnowing dry seeds (hands-on practice!)
– Storing seeds
