Fall is a very important time of year to care for your garden and landscape. John McDade will talk about the myriad of fall tasks you should be doing over the next two months including: pruning, perennial dividing, dormant oil sprays, fungal sprays, bulb planting, lawn aeration/ compost/ seeding, mulching, fertilizing and more.
The cold snap we have experienced in the Treasure Valley this week probably has you ready to pull out your coats and declare your gardening done for the year. We completely understand the urge, but there is still so much that can (and should) be done to help make sure your lawn and garden are ready for spring.
With that in mind, now is an incredible time to grab compost to give your beds a head start for the spring, raised bed mix to get new beds started, or mulch to help insulate your flowerbeds. And if you are ready to concentrate your gardening indoors, we also have incredible potting soil to make your houseplants happy.
